LogiGear Training Certification Program is a career development certification achievement program that LogiGear Corporation and the University of Science created to enable professionals to become certified testing experts. The LogiGear Training Certification Program consists of several certifications of which, the first in the series, LogiGear Certified Test Professional (LCTP) is being offered in Computer Science Center, University of Science.

LCTP I: BASIC SOFTWARE TESTING SKILLS
DESCRIPTION This course is Part I of the LCTP series. It offers a pragmatic introduction to systematic black box software testing. It reflects techniques and thinking that are applied day-to-day by successful companies that develop software for consumers or provide software development and testing services to other companies. The course seeks to develop your practical testing and test result reporting skills, and to improve your effectiveness in testing.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND Participants with a minimum of a two-year college degree or certificate, and more than two years of experience using computer and software applications, who do not have testing knowledge and/ or experience, and wish to enter a new professional software testing career.

LCTP II: NEW TEST ENGINEER SURVIVAL SKILLS
DESCRIPTION This course is Part II of the LCTP series; a continuation of Part I. The course focuses on other skills beyond testing techniques to help a new test engineer successfully survive and effectively contribute as a new team member in a test team. It also introduces the dynamics of the working environment of an outsourced service team and equips you with adequate soft skills to quickly learn, adapt and practice software testing in the real world. The course also seeks to develop your basic understanding of software test automation technology and its applications.
